Returns and refunds

What happens when goods arrive damaged, short or wrong, and when a trade order can be returned.

Last updated 12 September 2026

Damaged, short or incorrect

If an order arrives damaged, short, or is not what you ordered, tell us within [to confirm: the number of days allowed to report a problem] with your order number and a photograph where the goods are damaged. Keep the packaging until we have dealt with it.

Where we are at fault we replace the goods or refund that line in full, including its share of delivery, and we arrange and pay for collection. You are not out of pocket for our mistake.

Faulty goods

Goods must be of good quality, in working order and free of defects. Where something is defective, tell us and we will replace, repair or refund it.

This does not cover fair wear and tear, damage from misuse or incorrect storage, or goods altered after delivery.

Change of mind

We are a trade supplier and stock is bought in for resale, so we do not accept returns simply because an order no longer suits you. [to confirm: whether change-of-mind returns are accepted at all, any restocking fee, and the window]

If you trade as a sole proprietor you are a natural person, and Chapter VII of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 gives you seven days from delivery to cancel without giving reasons. You pay the cost of returning the goods, and we refund the rest within 30 days. That right does not reach a company, close corporation or trust.

Condition of returned goods

Anything returned must be unused, in its original packaging, and in a condition we can resell, unless it is faulty or was damaged in transit.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the bank account the payment came from, in South African rand. We do not issue cash refunds or store credit. [to confirm: how many business days a refund takes to be paid out]

Where a refund changes an invoice already issued, we issue a credit note so your VAT records stay correct.

How to start a return

Email us with your order number and what is wrong. Our address and telephone number are below. Please do not send anything back before we have replied, because unannounced returns are difficult to match to an order.
